Johnson Marlowe LLP partner Dustin Marlowe is a proud organizer of the 2013 People's Law School in Athens, Georgia. In addition to helping organize the annual event, Marlowe will lecture on Contracts as part of the 4-week series.

The People's Law School is a community service and education project launched by several local lawyers, including Marlowe and his law partner, Spence Johnson. The annual event helps non-lawyer citizens understand the legal system and how it works. Experienced, volunteer attorneys and judges in the community teach the classes. In addition to providing a general overview of the subject matter taught, the lecturers also take questions from the audience.

At the 2013 People’s Law School, speakers will cover the United States Supreme Court, the Civil Justice system, Criminal Law, Criminal Justice Reform, Torts, Contract Law, Landlord-Tenant Law, and Domestic Relations.
