Jacob Dalton is an associate at Johnson Marlowe LLP. His practice focuses on business litigation.
Jacob graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 with a degree in Fisheries & Wildlife. After graduation he worked as a police officer in Athens, Georgia and later in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He then shifted his career’s focus, attending Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While in law school, Jacob served as the Managing Editor of the Marquette Law Review and was inducted into Marquette’s Pro Bono Honors Society. He graduated magna cum laude in 2024.
Following law school, Jacob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rachel M. Blise, United States Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. After completing his clerkship, Jacob returned to Athens and joined Johnson Marlowe LLP.
Jacob lives in Athens’s Normaltown neighborhood with his wife, Sarah Grace, and their dog, Zeddicus. Jacob and Sarah Grace spend much of their free time outdoors. They enjoy triathlon training and exploring Georgia’s natural landscapes by hiking, biking, and kayaking.
